Games and Free Online Games

As games are different from play, it has structure and takes many forms: Sports, Tabletop games, Video games, Business games.

Sports are a good source of exercise and entertainment. It helps players be physically fit for these are those which use the physical strengths of the body such as a good hand and eye coordination, agility, speed and many others. Also, the mind is at work during the game. One type of sports is the lawn games. Examples of these are football, soccer, basketball, and other ball games, Frisbee, etc. wherein they use a lawn or a great amount of space for the sports to be held. Some of these games are highly competitive and organized. And it always follows rules and customs. However, all games have different corresponding rules and point systems which are always recorded. 

Tabletop games are those that only use a small area to function. Tabletop games are also called “mind games” because unlike sports which uses the body more, players in these kind of games exert little physical effort. It is classified according to the equipments used may it be board games, card games, dice games, miniature games, paper and pencil games, tile-based games, and guessing games. This kind of games makes the mind alert and critical.

Video games are computer and microprocessor controlled games.  These are single-player or multiple player games wherein the computer is their opponent which recreates the tools and equipments used in sports or tabletop games virtually. Games can also be original or an imitation of already existing games. They are manipulated by using joysticks, mouse or any sensitive device that will help a player move during the game. Video games also have advantages. Although it also uses the mind and exerts minimal effort, but it makes movements during games realistic even exaggerated--- something that in the real may or may not be seen and done. Also video games can be played either online or not. If online, it has free trials and can be downloadable. Today, video games and online games can even offer another world---virtual world. RPGs (Role-playing games) are an example. This is a kind of video games wherein a popular person or character is imitated and a player can play as this said person. Yet, it is considered addictive which needs to be played with full discretion.

Other forms of games are business games which used in team building games and exercises. Thus, free online games play vital parts in human experiences whether it is an exercise or a source of entertainment.
